Although very beautiful and peaceful with fantastic surroundings the park has too many restrictions. I was looking to buy a holiday home but rules on owning one are quite ridiculous. This is rather sad as it is a lovely place for a break away from the mad rush of every day life. ☹️ Spoke to many people staying on the...

Arrived for the Bank Holiday weekend with my Husband and our dog. Was a bit apprehensive after reading reviews on here but we decided to go with an open mind. The site it's self is huge, although cleverly laid out so it does not feel so. Touring pitch was large, we were on a standard pitch although superpitches are available,...

We recently stayed here for 2 nights. First impression was a nice site a short distance from Dunbar. Initially, we were greeted by friendly staff and given an information pack ( a map of site). We followed the map to the designated pitch. I wasn't too clear on the correct placement of my vehicle so I went for the pitch...

Spent 3 nights in 'superior' chalet ... It wasn't ! Furnishings tired ill equipped for self catering .Staff on reception dealt with check in in cursory manner not particularly welcoming. The bar facilities were like working mans club ,cold and uninviting, the shop poorly stocked with staff disinterested. I am glad I did not pay the full tariff for this holiday...

Just back from a long weekend with the family at Thurston Manor. The static caravan was rated as 'superior' and was clean, in good condition with plenty of space for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids - 6 & 9). There was a problem with our TV which we didn't discover until after reception was closed for...

Just returned from a 3 night stay in a "superior" pet friendly caravan at Thurston Manor. On arrival park looked good presentable checked in with no problems although had to give all my details as apparently because I had booked through Hoseasons the park apparently didn't have any of my details which I thought was very odd! Anyway got our...

We stayed in a standard lodge, booked the night before we arrived. It was spotless although some repairs needed, ie no mirror in seconds bedroom, toilet door really stiff, cables hanging down from television and no lock on decking gate but nothing major. Steep walk up to leisure centre but a lovely quiet, peaceful site close to beaches and walks...

Visited for a few days in the Easter holidays with my husband and 2 kids. The park itself is clean and tidy and in a great location for exploring the local area. We ate in the restaurant twice during our stay. The service is a bit slow and the food was just ok. Prices are fairly reasonable though and they...

There were a total of 2 adults and 3 children all above age 10 & our pet dog. We stayed in a 3 bedroom deluxe lodge in "The Glen" which is down quite a steep hill, however they offer a free pick up & drop off service to get you to the club/restaurant if the walk is too much. The...
