Attention to detail lacking, plastic plants and flowers outside, door to accommodation stairs scruffy and dirty. Room was so old fashioned. At breakfast there was no brown bread, no fruit or yoghurts. Couldn't fault the welcome, staff absolutely lovely. I think £60 would have been more appropriate than the £90 paid.

Enjoyed a lovely family meal on Saturday day night. Between us we tried 4 different starters and mains and they were all prepared and cooked beautifully. Nice atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, good beer and great food. Will definitely visit again and fully recommend

Had a wonderful sunday lunch here. The venison burger and steak were very tasty and well presented and the service was excellent and friendly. All the produce is sourced locally and the staff make you feel really welcome.

I had a one night stay at the Victoria Inn in Haddington back in September 2016. I stayed in a double room which also had a massive en-suite. The room itself even had a small walk in wardrobe, which was a lovely touch. It was also very clean, and had plenty of fresh towels. They was also plenty of tea...

This is a great place to come and stay. The room was comfortable and spacious with a lovely en-suite. The room fitted my needs perfectly. And the restaurant has so far had never served a meal that I haven't really enjoyed. I love visiting the Avenue every time I come up. The staff are really amazing too.

Visited here just for a drink, ended up having a gorgeous meal in the restaurant upstairs, bar staff and restaurant staff where first rate and very efficient in there work. Would not hesitate in going here again.

Arrived and was taken to our room. Big and bright. Cloth over dressing table dirty but apart from that clean. Was told that it was a 10am check out Sunday - which seemed a little early. Most places are 11/12 on a Sunday. They lady behind the bar checked and it was changed until noon. Happy visitor.

Was treated to a wonderful meal at the Avenue by my sister, for my birthday on Saturday 5th November. The food was exceptionally good, couldn't fault anything - the facilities were clean, service impeccable and the staff very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. All in all a wonderful experience. We will be back

The family room was lovely and clean. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. Only downfall was the remote for the TVs. Most of the buttons didn't work. However that would not stop me staying there again with my family. Would recommend
