Communication prior to our visit was excellent, change to dates and room requirements was arranged without a problem. Private Dining Room and bar area provided by hotel for our group, staff were helpful throughout our visit. Decent 3 course evening meal.

What can I say? Room 2 Colonel Maitland room all clean and roomy, excellent staff and outstanding food. To me it's like going back to the 1930's ( with all the modern cons) and location in historical Haddington : the home of Samuel Smiles, John Knox, Jane Welsh Carlyle ( wife of Thomas) (Sean Connery ( James Bond) worked here as a joiner and the church across the street ( war of rough wooing etc)

Visited Haddington for my sisters 50th birthday party. We were a mixed family group staying at the Maitlandfield. Rooms were snug but spotlessly clean. Going under a bit of a refurb but staff were very attentive and friendly and breakfast was quick and tasty. Definitely value for money and would stay again without hesitation.
