We stayed in a small balcony room towards the back of the hotel on the first floor. It was clean and tidy, a bit old fashioned. The balcony was made through a small doorway up a step and a small part of a side roof sectioned off, okay and added a bit of fresh air but no outlook unless you stood on a chair to look over a walled area. We also was above the kitchen and the conversations we could here and people shouting at each other as open vents are next to the balcony. The bar was closed and no evening service to sit and meet people, you had to book well in advance for the restaurant because when we checked in we could not have a table for our first two nights. We were disappointed and we felt excuses were made about it being “Covid” we visited other hotels who had a bar open with table service. My opinion is that it’s a Bed and breakfast place and if your lucky you can get an evening meal. The food was good, breakfast very good. We didn’t mine no room service. The short walk to the beach was handy, downhill going but uphill back. Plenty of local restaurants which are good. For the price we paid we felt a bit disappointed. Some lovely towns and beaches to get out to see locally.

Love this hotel, friendly staff, well appointed bedrooms, great food with plenty of choice, breakfast to start the day off well, and evening meal to end a great day. Have put Covid measures in place and look after the guest in a caring and considerate manner, will return again.

Very comfortable stay - room was bit dated but was spotlessly clean and beds comfy. Breakfast was excellent and would stay here again for the breakfast. Didn’t have evening meal here but other guests we spoke to said they had excellent meals there. Friendly staff. Short walk to the harbor and town centre and lovely walks near by along cliff paths and beaches.

A very pleasant hotel, very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The hotel made you feel safe in these difficult times, and it would be nice to stay in the future when the current covid problems are resolved.

Great location, easy to walk into Town centre and beach. Excellent breakfast especially the fruit yoghurt. We had already made p!ans for dinner and so sadly were unable to dine there for dinner, The evening menu looked varied and was reasonably priced. Would happily stay there again. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We certainly felt Covid-safe
