Stayed at this hotel recently. Rooms very comfortable and place generally good but not a great selection of drinks in the bar area. Could do with a few more selections. Breakfast good, would recommend

If you are looking to stay in Torbay look no further this is a gem of a hotel. Louise the owner has been nothing but delightful since we arrived, she has made us and our little dog Henry feel so welcome. Rooms are nice and clean comfy beds the food is all home made and the crowning glory is the...

This wonderful little hotel is an absolute gem. Louise and her team go all out to make every visit delightful. We are locals who use the restaurant regularly - the Sunday lunch is second to none and the views over the beach make this a place where the hours just slip by - it's the best location! We also use...

A lovely little hotel in a quiet road, with the sea right below. There is plenty of parking outside the hotel, which was great as I cannot walk far. We were made very welcome when we checked in. We stayed 3 nights in room 10, which had a fantastic sea view which stretched from Torquay on the left, right around...

Delightful, family-run seaside Hotel with seaside rooms having wonderful, expansive sea views. Extremey friendly owners and staff with home, freshly cooked breakfast in tea-room also overlooking the sea. Unfortunately the tea room was closed for our stay but with home baked bread and cakes would surely also have been a delight. Strongly recommended.

Spent four nights here on my November break.Situated next to the sea in a cul de sac at the end of Preston sands.Although not a sea view room was a fair size double at the back of the hotel. Room was a very good standard and had the added attraction of a railway line running past the back of the...

My daughter and I were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. For example, I don't drink tea or coffee so Louise made sure there was a selection of good quality herbal teas available in the room. The towels were large and fluffy and the beds comfortable. Our room was a...

Thank you for the review, in fact I have decided to upgrade that room next and having read your comments I will be looking into fitting a heated rail in the shower room. I do make my own yoghurt so I will offer that as an option in future! Regards Louise

Very professional young man greeted me on arrival and offered to carry my bag, Ben, you are a star!! Was told all the important information i.e: when the bar was open and breakfast time!! Room was clean, comfortable and VERY quiet. Shower was very space age - I've never seen one like it before and it worked a treat. Big...

Just stayed in The Torbay Sands Hotel for a birthday weekend. Great location on the beach and on a dead end street which is quiet. Parked the car up and didn't move it for three days as everything is within walking distance. Dog friendly hotel, great breakfasts and Sunday roast. Friendly owner who comes out to speak to you in...
