Really good Sunday lunch served here. Very good customer service across the board. Our food was served quickly after placing the order. Vegetables served with the meal were varied, hot and tasty. Will certainly go back. Very good value. Lots of free parking on site.

First visit to Bowburn Hall. I ordered fish and chips. Local Hartlepool cod skinless and boneless. First bite and I noticed the batter not cooked on the inside. Just scraped the undone bit off and ate the crispy bit. Further up to the thicker part...More

I was initially surprised at the hotel on arrival. Photos do not show that the hotel is now surrounded by houses - probably built more recently than the hotel! Pleasant stay for 2 days visiting Durham - I would go againMore

Hello Gordon H, Thank you for your recent review of Bowburn Hall. Indeed there are new housing developments in the local area... they are most definitely much newer than our beautiful, listed building! Bowburn Hall is set in peaceful gardens and our new neighbours are...More
