    A delightful place to stay. Charming rooms full of character. Interesting hosts. Nice location. Good value for money.

    Fantastic location and beatuful old house. Like staying in a museum!. We only managed to get the standard double but it was excellent, comfy bed, nice extras in the room, all we needed. Did manage a peek at the twin room and it is huge. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in a B&B. Ian and Eva were...

    B&B with beautiful rooms and fabulous hosts. A true gem and somewhere I know we will return to.     Just spent a couple of nights at Number 34. Had a great time, the hosts were so attentive and the accomodation was superb. We stayed Friday and Saturday night in the deluxe double room, loads of space, large four poster bed, leather sofa, separate bathroom with roll top bath and large walk in shower. The room came with nice touches...

    We booked directly and were offered the Standard Double room. The house is located pretty centrally in Barnard Castle. The room was fine - some lovely luxurious touches - fabrics, mini decanter of sherry for a cheeky sharpener before dinner, real coffee for a cafetiere.
