Booked to stay in a double room for the weekend and found it very pleasant. The room was in the newer attic part and was so clean and quirky. There was no noise at all from the bar downstairs and the whole.place is decorated to a high standard whilst keeping its original character. The bar and restaurant are nice and... More

Stayed here for 1 night on Saturday 17th September with my mum. Hotel was really nice, the room very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. We had a meal in the downstairs restaurant/cocktail bar on the evening and the food was amazing, as well as the atmosphere being perfect for us. Breakfast was included in the room, and there... We Booked a last minute weekend here to visit the lakes, very reasonable rates. The room was an executive Double and we couldn't fault it. One of the most comfortable hotel beds that I have slept in, breakfast is excellent. We didn't use the restaurant as we dined out so can't comment on that. Aircon in the room was excellent... More

Nice to see Barrow getting its act together. This hotel really surprised me. We stayed for one night at the end of July and I've got to say really enjoyed it. The staff at reception were really helpful and genuinely friendly, the bar is modern and light with a nice atmosphere and the breakfast was of a good standard. However... More

I booked a weekend in barrow for my partners birthday. After looking at the pictures of the superior rooms i thought they looked really nice and thought they would be worth the £105 i paid. When we arrived i walked into the room and it looked nothing like the photos online. I was rather dissapointed to be honest and it... More

We stayed at the hotel for one night whilst attending a nearby wedding. Room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we had frosted windows so no view but we didn't spend much time in the room so that didn't matter to us. Breakfast was good apart from the toast which took an age to arrive (had been served and almost finished... More

Had tickets for the Nathan Carter show at The Forum, so decided to stay over night. Arrived earlier than booking-in time - no problem, the receptionist checked with the housekeeper and room ready for us in 15 minutes also she hung shirt in office and looked after overnight bag whilst we had an excellent, value for money lunch in the... Lovely hotel, rooms and food are fab and the staff can't do enough for you. We had a remote control issue, I.e. it was missing and the staff scoured the whole building for a spare. Even though one couldn't be found we will be back to stay again !

Could not fault this hotel at all. The rooms were lovely the food was great and the staff were amazing! We had a disabled elderly lady and a baby with us and we needed to get them, our bags and ourselves to the car in the pouring down rain. The staff saw us struggling and offered to help. They took...
