This hotel really needs to buck up its ideas. I stayed 5 nights - bedding not changed once and I'm pretty sure the room wasn't cleaned at all...... items on the floor in the halls when I checked in were still there when I checked out . Breakfast was ok apart from the fact you eat in near darkness as...

Stayed here on New years eve in a standard double room. Room was basic but was all we needed!! Tidy, bed was comfortable, tea/coffee facilties included and hairdryer. Shower was brilliant, powerful. Although we were on the first level where the lounge was, party was still going on when we got back to hotel but once you went through the...

A group of 12 of us joined around 150 at the 15 December party night Like previous reviewers, I agree that the hotel management (not staff - they worked their butts off) need to look themselves in the mirror as some of the basics were simply not in place. To run out of one type of lager and to run...

Stayed here for a romantic trip away, it was a lovely room, although there are multiple cracks around the window frames and in the walls! Hotel staff friendly enough during our stay, however when she told us we could ring if we had any problems, it's impossible when there is no phone in the room! apart from that, had a...

For the price of a Travelodge, we booked this room last second. All things considered, it was not a disappointment. For £50 a night, we got a decent room, nicely decorated, warm, clean, and a hot breakfast every morning. The hotel is a 45 minute drive to Lake Windermere, in an... interesting town. The views are, well, either some roofs...

Staff very friendly, rooms clean and comfy. Only downside was, the weather was glorious so, the rooms were very stuffy and hot at night, could do with air conditioning. We would stay there again but probably not in summer time.

First time in the area for a friends party. The staff were friendly enough and room was clean. The room was nice but could have done with a bit of a spruce up however as there were a few marks on the wall and a chip missing. Bathroom was clean and modern but dont be alarmed if the toilet sounds...

Was here on business for 2 nights and the hotel is in a great location, the little town is full of great restaurants at fantastic prices (would recommend Francesca's or the Brown Cow a short and cheap taxi ride away). Now to the hotel itself...The bed is comfortable, the shower works well & the TV works. Yes, the rooms have...

Went to a Surprise 30th Birthday for my sons best friend. Checking in took ages and only one lady to deal with us all, there were 4 rooms we were checking in. 7 of us. Got to my room 201, which was nice enough for a one night stay but for any more than that I don't think I would...
