Where do I begin? 1. Asked where we could park car as all nearby car parks were full. We were told to park up beside a supermarket however I eventually parked the car around a mile from the property. After getting back to the hotel I was told that we were the only ones staying and I could have parked...

This hotel is wrongly named, it should be called the dirty grey hotel. On entering the smell of chip-pan and smoke is overwhelming. The whole hotel is filthy and stinks. Our room was tiny, it had not been cleaned, the shower and toilet were disgusting. There was used soap in the shower , the bin had not been emptied. Grotty...

£100?!? I wouldn't pay £50!! It was disgusting, it smelt, it was damp, dirty, noisy. The were no staff to help or speak to. The shower was mouldy and broken, the floor in bathroom hadn't been mopped in ages, the carpet was dirty, the blind at the window was broken. When checking in they tried to charge us again! We...

The staff were great but the hotel itself needed 'sprucing up' Lots of the woodwork was unfinished - stair spindles were just undercoated and had obviously been like that for some time. The built in shelves in the bedroom didn't have any paint on them at all. Walls had been repaired - holes filled in, but not smoothed down and...

We stayed for one night. The damp in this place is horrendous. Our room stunk! So much that once I got home I could spell it on my case & all my stuff! The walls outside our room on the stairs was full of damp & carpet wet & moldy. Crazy how they allow guests to come in & see...

Before we went I read reviews some of which had me wondering what id let myself in for The staff are great and the breakfast was nice, the location is perfect, the pub next door (owned by same people) is great but be warned some rooms are above it so an early night isnt an option without ear plugs as...

Ok, I made a school boy error in not reading reviews, booked in haste, which was my mistake. So my 24Hr stay was my own fault, the room hadn't been vacuumed for a while (weeks), mould on the windows, bathroom had mould all over the place, the toilet flushed once then ran water for the night, breakfast was ok, no...
