Everything was first class - from the warm welcome by the fire with a glass of fizz - to Father Christmas leaving stockings with luscious gifts for Christmas morning - delicious food superbly prepared and beautifully served - we could have asked for nothing more! Our room was delightful with views over trees to Lake Windermere. The staff were very...

We enjoyed a wonderful one-night stay comprising dinner, bed and breakfast. The service was exemplary - the staff were very polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Our room was very comfortable, the new bathroom facilities being particularly impressive. And the food was exquisite - fine dining at its best. We couldn't recommend ithe stay highly enough

Overall a very nice place, and the one or two issues I had were responded too well. Very nice setting, public areas well set out, clean, and room was very good. My one issue was the ground floor room I had was next to a kitchen walk way, but the manager told me this was being changed, so fair enough,...

We have been to the Ryebeck six times. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel special. Nothing disappoints, the hotels position is excellent, just 15-20 mins walk into Bowness. The ambiance is just welcoming, the rooms comfortable, with big beds, and super bathrooms. But the food!!!! well it is amazing. You feel like you are on Masterchef....

We had a fantastic meal just before Christmas, the staff were all very friendly and most helpful. The hotel is a good mix of traditional comfortable lounge and a dining room with a fantastic view of the beautiful surroundings.

This was our third visit and won't be our last. The staff are friendly and most helpful, our room was very comfortable with a much appreciated bath in the en suite, and the dining room, a light and airy contrast to the cosines of the rest of the house. Dinner was beautiful to look at and delicious to eat although...
