Stayed here for two nights, wish it could have been longer. Our room was the standard double room and it was just wonderful. It was spotlessly clean and very cozy with everything included that you could think of. There was even a coffee maker. I was surprised to see tucked away an ironing board and iron and a safe. The...

I booked this hotel as a special location for our first valentines day together. All I can say is it was amazing, the staff were so helpful and polite and always willing to help. In particular Abbey, Albert and Colin were absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, the food is amazing although there is just one criticism with...

Stayed for one night with breakfast. All treated ourselves to the brasserie. The staff were extremely friendly and the hotel decor is splendid. Really enjoyed sitting in the lounges and the window seat for breakfast overlooking the lake. The gardens are really well maintained and easy to walk down to the lake through the grounds. There was no problem providing...

Stayed 17th-19th Feb for 2 nights with my partner. The hotel was of excellent standard, very contemporary but fitting for the building and setting. It was spotlessly clean and all staff were welcoming and friendly. We stayed on a DBB deal which included a three course meal in the Brassiere. Dinner on the first night was fantastic however on the...

What an amazing hotel, recently refurbished and the decor is absolutely beautiful as you would expect from Laura Ashley designers. The hotel has a car park which is great and the hotel is only a few minutes walk from either the lake or the village. The views from the hotel grounds and front lawn are amazingly breath taking. The bedrooms...

It's not the cheapest hotel in the Lake District, but it's one of the plushest. Comfort abounds from the lounges to the rooms, which are large and well equipped. The bed in my room was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The hotel has a bar and large dining room with very polite and attentive staff. There's...

Stayed here on Valentine's Day just for the night. The room was lovely very modern and clean. We stayed in a lake view room and the view was absolutely amazing. One of the best hotels we've stayed in. Lovely room clean with a lovely bathroom. Friendly staff and excellent food. The public areas are also clean and tidy with lovely decor throughout. The views over the lake from the dining room is another plus.
