Stayed for 2 nights in a double room with lake views and shower. Room was an adequate size and we had a great view of the lake but found the size of the shower room extremely small and cramped !! Bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. We dined in the Belsfield restaurant on both nights and enjoyed our...

Stayed for one night. Building is situated on top of a hill overlooking Windermere Lake, which from the outside looks rather grand and has some breathtaking views from the garden area etc. The room itself was nice and clean, although quite small and not with the best view (straight out onto what looked like retirement apartments who could probably see...

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights for our wedding anniversary having read about it in a magazine. First impressions when arriving were very good, it looked great and the location could not have been better. The interior of the hotel was perfect, all Laura Ashley furnishings and décor. I booked a suite but on check in was given a four poster room. At first sight I was disappointed as I had spent ages deliberating between the...

Perfectly situated & furnished, wonderful views, friendly & helpful staff. We stayed on a package Dinner + B&B in a garden room. These are on the small side though access to the garden is a plus. Bathroom good, furnishings good. Downside was public access right outside window/door (caused by poor signage to divert, we had dog walkers and people asking...

We stayed here on the weekend of 5th/6th March to celebrate a 'big' birthday and our Ruby Wedding anniversary - our first visit in 40 years back to the hotel where we spent our honeymoon! It was a nice hotel then, but it's fantastic now. I think the only thing which hadn't changed was the quaint old-fashioned lift. We had...

Visited 12th March for a friend's wedding. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the whole day was brilliant! The hotel did a special rate of £85 per couple staying in their Laura Ashley furnished bedrooms inc a stunning full English breakfast for guests at the wedding. I would throughly recommend this...
