3 night stay with my parents. Staff where very professional and friendly. Views over lake windermere stunning. Food good. Only gripes were the boisterous children running around, which annoyed some people. Overall would come again.

Dear makeupservice Thank you for your review, I am disappointed to read that you found your room tiny, have you contacted reception about it? I would be delighted to change your room if we could offer alternative. I am also puzzled to read that our bath is dangerous... to help and understand your issue I would really need more details....

An excellent hotel ovedrlooking lake windermere. Rooms not cheap but very comfortable. Hotel was spotless, excellent service, and felt very luxurious. Also very good swimming pool, although changing facilites were rather limited. Very good breakfast. Very happy to recommend this, especially if it is for a special stay. We had been bought a £200 voucher for a gift and after successfully trying to make a reservation times during summer 2015 (the hotel hosts...

Hotel interiors are very tastefully done and many original features of the building have been retained such as the lovely old metal gated lift. Staff were very polite and attentive during our one night stay with dinner. Room was well appointed, good size, decent bathroom and had nice little extras like a tassimo coffee machine and jar of humbugs. We...
