The room we occupied had a wonderful sea view overlooking Portland harbour. A small beach in front of the house is delightful, and the room itself was equipped with everything that you would need. A perfect location for Lyme Regis to the West (fossil museum closed until June 2017) and Swanage and Corfe Castle to the East, and wonderful locations... More

We stayed two nights whilst walking the South West Coast Path. The upper room has a great fold out balcony which faces south so sun bathing or just reading it is great to relax in. The national sailing centre is nearby adding to the scenic interest. A fine breakfast set us up for our two days of walking.

We've recently returned from the Portland Pebble B&B. We were staying for several days to do some windsurfing and walking, and this fantastic place is perfectly located for both. The ferrybridge boatyard car-park (which is where we windsurf from) is less than a minute's drive away and The Rodwell Trail begins/ends right outside the front door. Also just outside is... More

We've just returned from an amazing two night stay at the Portland Pebble in the Crows Nest room. Stunning views across to Portland from this room and the clever Velux balcony windows make it lovely to sit and watch the kite boarders. Room was spotlessly clean with lovely bedding and lots of towels, very nice toiletries. Lots of tea, coffee... More

We've just had another wonderful visit to the Portland Pebble. Lorraine and Paul are so welcoming. The breakfast is excellent - such a wonderful spread. The bedrooms are lovely with great views across to Portland. We've had a great weekend swimming, windsurfing and walking. Can't recommend it enough.

We stayed for two nights and were made to feel very welcome by Lorraine. Stayed in the Midships room on the first floor. Had great views across to the harbour and Chesil beach. Even entertained by watching kite surfers in the harbour!!! Sheila & Martin

Fresh white fluffy towels and beautifully clean throughout. Comfy beds and lovely location. Fantastic breakfast at a time suitable to guests and a good choice of cold... More

We found ourselves washed out campers but found this gem-of-a-place to spend the night. A VERY comfortable room at the top of the house gave us such a fantastic view of the bay.....and the binoculars left in the room by Paul and Lorraine ( the owners ) made the view more special. The super English breakfast set us up for... More

Arrived with my friend for a one night stop off. We arrived in the early evening with the plan to be out until the early hours exploring Weymouth and Portland in our car. The managing couple were exceptional, very helpful but also allowed us our alone time. We were given a key and told we can return whenever. Really beautiful... More
