I first stayed in this Hotel 12 years ago and had a fantastic experience. However sadly this hotel is very tired and not worth the amount they are charging. The worst bit was the bed, this springs had totally collapsed and made for a very uncomfortable sleep. I have to stay all the staff were super friendly and very helpful....

First impressions were not good with scuffed doors & a very basic feeling to the room. Very poor shower & mattress. Room was warm but no double glazing. On the positive side the staff were great, very friendly & the food was good also the location was excellent.

Weymouth is one of my favorite seaside towns. A real English gem that takes me back to my childhood with its "Kiss me quick" hats and donkey rides on the beach. But the town is very short on higher category hotels. Hence we booked into the Hotel Rex for an overnight stay on a recent December night. The hotel has...

We booked for one night (a Friday) as we were returning from north Devon to East Sussex and it was about halfway. The staff couldn't have been nicer or helpful, but as we arrived so did a coach load of turkey and tinsel pensioners, not that I have anything against them, but it took a while to book in. We...

Lovely friendly hotel..the staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. In a great location opposite the sea front and the town and harbour just behind. Lovely and clean and had private parking if you want it which was helpful.

We booked a table here for 2 on firework night. All the staff we met were a credit to the hotel. The lad on reception at lunch time when we booked could not have been more helpful, he helped us out with menu choices and even allow us to choose our own table in the restaurant. Later that evening when...
