We stayed whilst visiting the Seafood Festival, so glad we chose this family run B&B, Steph and Rich are the perfect hosts, breakfast was delicious, plenty of parking, walking distance of harbour and town, a comfortable, reasonably priced room, would certainly recommend and visit again.

We attended a Steam show at Chickerell just a few miles from Weymouth so we decided to stay at the Sou'West Lodge where we have stayed many times over 15 years or so. You always get a warm welcome from Richard & Steph. The rooms are spotless with a nice breakfast in the Morning. There is ample parking at the...

I use this family run hotel several time a year and cannot fault it. Spotlessly clean, nice breakfasts, free parking with bus stops nearby. A lovely family who seem to be held in high regard by other local traders.

My Uncle stayed here for 2 weeks in November and was treated really well by Steph and Richard. Even when, still on Australian time, he woke Richard at 5am! The room was lovely and clean, Richard even gave him a jar of coffee as he drinks it a lot! The rooms are basic but nice. My Uncle is looking at...

We have stayed in this b&b a few times now. Lovely and clean. The owners are so friendly and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is really good. Brilliant location for shops and harbour etc. Another wonderful stay and looking forward to another one next year.

We chanced upon this hotel rather spontaneously as we were driving past it. After parking our car and ringing the bell, the owner came out and he was more than happy to show us the room they had available. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. We woke up refreshed and ready for another day of exploring wonderful Dorset. The...

Ideal for so many reasons. Friendly atmosphere, clean and homely. Plenty of off road parking. Owners went out of there way to make sure we were happy and can give information on local areas to visit. Seafront and town centre are easy to access via a walk along the public paths (brewers quay - remember it) so you can leave...

Have stayed many times at this little hotel and the welcome is always so friendly. Very clean, lovely breakfast and free parking. The owners are always most helpful with information if needed. The hotel is a little distance from the harbour and town centre, but very easily walkable if one is averagely fit.

Stayed on my own there. The owners were lovely and really helpful. The bus stop was conveniently located right outside the bnb to visit portland and in the opposite direction weymouth centre and the train station. The room was comfortable and very clean with a tv and ensuite. Best of all, it was cheap compared with other accomodation nearby. Recommend!

When in the area I stay at Sou West Lodge. Located a short walk to the old quay where the resturants , bars and few shops are with views of the old quay. You always get a warm welcome and breakfast is freshly cooked. See you again soon
