Just want to say a massive thanks to Derek and Jean. With it being Mother's Day I was struggling to find somewhere that I could book my wife in for a spa day as a surprise. When I first spoke to Derek and Jean they only had treatments at 4pm available but they somehow managed to put together a full...

Thank you very much for our lovely stay over Valentines weekend. You made us feel very comfortable and relaxed and was the perfect get-a-way. Its amazing to live in a country that you do not have to go far and believe you are a million miles away. The rooms, service and food was just perfect, we will certainly be back

Stayed for one night and were made to feel very welcome. Lovely clean room with comfy bed. Very quiet at this time of year, we were one of only two sets of guests. Food was lovely although my husband was a little disappointed with his starter - only 2 scallops for £7.50 was a bit expensive. We woke up to...

We enjoyed a two night stay off peak and although the Lodge was quiet, it didn't effect the overall visit, in fact it added to its charm. Derek and Jean were very welcoming and did their utmost to ensure we had everything we needed. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb and served by two pleasant and friendly staff,...

We just returned from a 2 night stay here and we both had an amazing time!! The owners were very welcoming and told us about places we could visit around the area and were always asking if we needed anything. The room was very nice, clean and tidy and the shower was great!! Great views over the loch and the...

Went with friends for a drink and was denied the wifi password and accused us of using their wifi in a caravan?? We weren't even in the caravan site, simply driving past on our way to Banchory for a refreshment. When we explained this we were called liars and left embarrassed In front of the rest of the restaurant. Will...

You must have been phantom guests as we have not been open for a couple of months.Given that you may be referring to another time we offer our apologies if you did not get free wifi and I recall you did not stay for that drink. There were several periods when our wifi was down but i can not remember those...

Despite arriving late due to fog, Derek was waiting for us with a plate of sandwiches as requested. He and Jean were extremely friendly, as were the two waitresses. Jean suggested places of interest for us to visit, and even rang to check that they were open in November. The view from our room was stunning and everything was clean....

Friendly and warm welcome, a much appreciated offer of evening meal, clean, warm tidy room, full provisions in bathroom, beautiful view, delicious food, beautifully presented, homely eco-vibe, calm and relaxing. Maybe just check radiators for bleeding for when temperatures drop.
