There were 21 of us visited for a meal. We had a range of food from steaks to past. All meals were served together, food was tasty and hot. There were plenty of clean plates amongst us. We would recommend.

This was my first visit for a family Sunday lunch at this local pub/hotel. A reservation was made prior to our visit to ensure we could get a table. The place itself needs a makeover, but taking that aside the service was excellent and the food was cooked well and presented nicely. Both chicken and beef dinners were sufficient and...

Came for tea and have to say the steak pie was spot on. Had a couple of not so good ones but decided to try once more and we were so pleased we did. Excellent value too. Very polite staff, definitely be back.

My welcome and service on arrival was warm and efficient. Breakfast order filled in and given to staff. Being a Saturday night they had live music until midnight. Not good if you want an early night! I was in a triple bedroom, very spacious. However, none of the mattresses were any good, curtains thin so light flooded in, decor dated...

Booked on line through late rooms, a family room and a double for a family party that night in Driffield. Arrived, checked in, paid and mentioned there were 3 girls (our daughters) in the family room. No problem she said. There were only 2 breakfast slips so we asked for another and were rudely told that we had to pay...

Group of 8 of us stayed here in several rooms to attend a friends funeral. Many of us had travelled long distances and the staff opened up early to allow us into our rooms to change for the funeral. The staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms large and clean, as was the bathroom. Coffee making facilities, TV plenty of towels....

Better than average, good food and generous portions. Staff friendly and happy to please. Pleasant atmosphere in a not too large room, making it feel quite cosy. Would recommend for families. Fairly standard menu which caters for most tastes.

A family Christmas gathering for 23 members was excellent. All well presented by the very friendly staff. The meals were great and very tasty. Loads of fresh vegetables with gallons of wonderful gravy. All together a very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you.

This hotel was well located for our needs and plenty of off road parking. Havingarrived was told no tables available for food but was later fitted in and enjoyed reasonable quality and very reasonably priced meals. We had a twin room as two guys and only needed a place for the night to attend a function in the morning. Showed...
