After a long gap since our last visit we were welcomed with open arms to this wonderful historic place - imagine a harbour here built in 1590 but washed away in 1896. Thankfully the old harbour buildings survive and are providing a brilliant offer in this truly wonderful location. If you don't like views of jagged rocks and pounding surf...

Had a great lunch. Staff are really friendly and helpful . Its an Old Smugglers Inn. Very interesting building covered in old phobos of the area. Outstanding setting. Unrivalled views...rain or shine...awesome place.

Outside of the cow paths upon one must drive to get to this location, it was quite a remarkable experience. Most would love a serene, calm day at the seashore, but the gale-force winds and pounding surf of this remarkable rugged cliff location made this trip most memorable. The relatively small hotel with a very nice and strangely popular pub,...

Stayed 2 nights Very clean and comfortable. Hotel slightly dated in decor. Great pub to eat in. Standard pub food, and good beer and atmosphere. Location is second to none, amazing views of the rugged Atlantic coast line. A great place to be no matter what the weather.

The location is fantastic, beware a £2 car parking charge. The pub is looking tired and has no outlook towards the sea from inside, actually one window overlooks the Gents! The staff were pleasant and food served quite quickly even though busy. The lasagna was fairly good as was the fish and chips, chips average and the peas undercooked, dry...

After travelling down country lanes which felt like 20 miles when in fact was only about 5 miles from the main road. We reached after ending upòn going down a long very steep hill this fantastic hotel. The views across the sea were spectacular. We were exploring the area and could not have ended up in a better place for...

We visited Hartland Quay last week whilst the weather was good and it is a truly fantastic place. The views are incredible, the drive (or walk) down is beautiful and having somewhere to get a drink or a meal is a real bonus when on such a rugged coast. The Hartland Quay Hotel is a quaint, rugged building full of...

Local pub in great surroundings which offers good pub food and a choice of local beers and ales. Friendly staff help make the meal enjoyable. Can be crowded at times but plenty of tables outside if the weather is good.
