We found and booked our overnight stay on Booking.com. We received a confirmatory email and Ken and Sheila met us earlier than the usual check in time. This flexibility is just one example of how warm and accommodating Ken and Sheila are. We were instantly made to feel very welcome by their homely manner and the comfort offered in their...

We had a wonderful stay at the blacksmiths house. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended and we'll likely be back soon.

Thank you both for your very nice comments, we do try to make people as welcome as possible. The heating is definitely on at the moment we are not really used to the cold round here. Sheila's breakfasts certainly keep you going, we have had many good comments about them. Hope to see you again. Ken and Sheila.
