I have stayed here on three occasions now out of season attending a Guitar Playing retreat. Rest assured when the retreats take place, we are the only guests so no one is disturbed. I have been so impressed with the quality, cleanliness and absolutely friendly staff and great service, that this year I am planning to take my family for...

Just spent a great weekend at the Edgcumbe with a group of friends and it is every bit as good as when I stayed there 4 years ago. Pleasant, clean and bright rooms, great staff and great food. Highly recommended.

This hotel was a real find. My girlfriend and I booked on a whim and headed for devon and cornwall. We were there during the Bude Jazz festival and the town was quite busy. Thank you to Jo and the amazing staff there who made or stay so welcoming, even phoning around to book us a table for an evening...

We booked in at the Edgcumbe for a weekend of surfing and catching up. The welcome was fantastic, they couldn't do too much to help us. We got tips on where to get kit and the best places to surf at anytime. The room was great and breakfast fantastic. I hope to make it an annual pilgrimage.

This was recommended by the surf school I was booking with ( Raven) and I'm so glad I stayed. So helpful, lovely clean room, and a great location overlooking the beach, and 2 mins walk from the amazing sea pool . Delicious breakfast every morning. I will definitely stay again.

We dropped in one evening for dinner and were very pleasantly surprised. The decor was lovely and relaxing, the staff was brilliant - a quiet evening and just one guy looking after us, excellent customer service. We were there when the new chef was trying out her menu, so there was no choice of food and it was delicious. Everything...
