The cottages are the most dog friendly and luxurious cottages EVER! My 8th trip here and as always the staff (James and Sharan Proudfoot) give 5* service. The spa area is wonderfully clean and a joy to use.

We stayed here with two friends, my wife and two dogs. They accommodation was very very good, well maintained and very clean. The apartment (Nettlecombe) is disabled friendly and allows wheelchair access. It's position in the complex is ideal if you want to access to to the spa, swimming pool and reception. They even gave us two dog crates, a...

The three bed house was beautiful. Log burner and under floor heating. Very clean. Gym, pool and spa great. Spa treatments a little pricey but we all enjoyed them very much indeed. Took the dog, had own private garden. Really enjoyed it and will go back.

Our second Christmas spent at Whalesborough. Excellent accommodation with all you could want for a self catering stay. Everything provided for your dogs including covers for the chairs, dog cages and facilities for washing and drying your dogs after a walk on the beach. Our 3rd New Year visit. This time with 6 month old puppy, 3 year old springer and our 2 boys. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Facilities make e everything easy. Space not an issue even with a loopy pup. We'll be back in the summer and can't wait. Oh! And nice touch with the New Year's Eve bubbles James - much appreciated!...

The house was great and and was very well set up for taking the dog. Will definitely return. We made use of the pool on site which wasn't busy. There was plenty of choice for restaurants nearby. There is a restaurant onsite which does a lovely lunch.

We spent a week at Barley Park at the start of December. Cottage was fabulous - it's great to find 5* accommodation which not only accepts dogs but fully welcomes them. The location is brilliant, there are nice walks to the coast and along the canal to Bude. The pool is a great facility and I used this on a...

Just spent New Year at these well appointed modern cottages with large family contingent ages ranging from 3 months old to 85. Definitely recommend and would go back. Special mention to the pool facilities that were better than excellent and the large well equipped play barn. James is very discreet but very welcoming (particularly enjoyed New Year bottle of Prosecco-...

We weren't disappointed in this beautifully appointed one bedroom cottage which was spacious, beautifully decorated, and warm and cosy. We had visited the spa before and made best use of it again during our stay & had an amazing treatment each. Lots of lovely walks to enjoy, close to Bude and Widemouth Bay. Looking forward to coming back again!
