I've stayed at Stratton Gardens three times now on business trips. I've found it a very peaceful place to unwind after a working day. The room 'Buzzard' is very comfortable and the wifi has worked well. Jan & Liz have provided a great veggie breakfast each time. The church clock chimes are very musical and the garden outlook is charming....

We have stayed at Stratton Gardens a few times now when travelling to Cornwall and have enjoyed every visit. The rooms are large with high quality en suites, all with great views of the garden, and the breakfast is excellent. The garden itself is a real selling point, really relaxing and a lovely spot for a glass of wine in...

We returned again for our usual stay around Easter time. We just love this place. The welcome is warm and Jan and Liz are fantastic hosts. Everything is perfect here. The rooms are lovely and well-equipped, there is a cosy guest lounge and a great, well-priced bar. This place is wonderful value for money. I cannot recommend Stratton Gardens highly...

An extremely well organized guest house with outstanding attention to detail. From the very first moment you feel at home. The peace and the charm of the Grade II listed well kept cottage invades you from the moment you arrive at the car park. Afterwards we were welcomed with a lovely tea and flapjacks to have a rest form our...

We stayed here for 6 nights at the beginning of April and wished we could have stayed for much, much longer! We received a warm welcome on arrival from Jan, including a pot of tea and some lovely flapjacks which we ate in the beautiful garden. Our room (Buzzard) was spotlessly clean, with a really comfortable bed, good quality bed...

Myself and my partner were thrilled with our recent stay at Stratton Gardens, having had Bude recommended to us as a holiday destination. Jan and Liz were consummate hosts, warmly welcoming us into their lovely guest house and providing a wealth of suggestions for activities and places to eat and drink (Life's A Beach is a must). Our bedroom was...

My partner & I & 3 friends stayed at Stratton Gardens B & B for 3 nights. We arrived to be warmly greeted by Liz & Jan & were served tea & cake, in the sitting room, in front of a roaring log fire (well it is March!) So we immediately felt very welcomed & made ourselves very much at...

We stayed there in late October before a cruise out of Southampton. Jan and Liz were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The rooms were very modern, although parts of the building date to the 1500s. Bathrooms were ultra modern, some of the best we have seen anywhere. I highly recommend you search out...
