We recently stayed for a couple of nights with Lucy and Sid and found a very warm welcome to greet our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for them but was provided with the minimum of fuss. Breakfast was of the utmost quality and plenty of choices to cater for all tastes. When in the area would definitely use again.

Booked for a 4 night stay in Callander, Roslin Cottage proved to be the ideal base for a relaxing stay. Sid and Lucy's welcome was warm and helpful, with a chat about breakfast (wheat and dairy-free no problem) and a little tour of the cottage with hot drink-making facilities up on the bedroom landing. My room, Cherryview was ideal for...

Stayed at Roslin Cottage for three nights in May 12 as part of a wider walking trip to Scotland. The room we stayed in was very small however is compensated for in other areas. Breakfast was fantastic - full cooked Scottish was one of the best I have had, however there are a wide range of alternatives available (we also...

My boyfriend surprised we with a trip to scotland for valentine 2011. We first went to Edinburgh and then drove to Callender. We stayed at Roslin cottage for one night. Sid greeted us when we arrived and he showed us around the house and made us feel very welcome. He said we are more than welcome to use any dvd's,...

Roslin Cottage is a gorgeous little B&B oozing character and charm. None of the rooms are huge, and that's part and parcel of such a historic cottage... but the welcome was huge and we were made to feel quite comfortable. The breakfasts here were fabulous.....I always appreciate a good breakfast, and this one was just superb. I had the vegetarian...

My wife and I stayed for two nights at the beginning of October when the weather was miserable, and still managed to have a very warm, welcoming and relaxing time. The owners were exceptional hosts, and went above and beyond to make sure we were at ease. The setting and cottage is beautiful, and although it is situated at the...

Our first night of a three night trip spent here. The bed was a little soft for us and hubby rose with a sore back or I would have given an extra star.It was a home visit experience rather than a B&B experience due to the friendly hosts and platter breakfast. We wanted to finish it but couldn't find the space .Five...

This was the first B & B we stayed at during our 2 week holiday tour of the West of Scotland. Lucy & Sid's warm and gentle welcome set the tone for the whole of our stay. And so we expected similar standards for all of our other stays but nothing has matched their hospitality and genuine care for the...

Lucy and Sid the owners treated us to the best of Scottish hospitality. This was our first trip to Scotland and what a curtain raiser! Breakfasts were superb. Lucy took quiet and careful note of what were the obvious favourite pieces of each guest, and individually and subtly increased the portions of these every day. Sid is a superb chef...

Needed to find somewhere near Callender and chose Roslin Cottage because of the price and good reviews. Stayed in the Cherry View room which is very small but very compact with everything you need. Only suitable for short stays because of minimal drawer and hanging space. We stayed two nights which was fine. The view of the garden and birds...
