A beautiful quaint thatched property with chickens and duck roaming free. Great location to explore south Devon and only a few minutes from Newton Abbot. A wonderful welcome from Luke and an excellent English breakfast. Suitable for couples families and pet friendly too.

Thanks Nigel for the warm welcome at the farm. I've been there 2 tiles and it's a been a pleatiles The farm is peaceful, the air is pure and the rare neughbors are goats and chickens. It is sad the b&b is closing, your business customers will surely miss the farm.

I came here with my partner for a 2 night break for some quiet time relaxing. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite. We arrived in the evening and were welcomed by the duty manager Luke who could not have been more helpful and friendly. He took us to our room, showed us around and checked we had everything we needed....

We booked a room here last minute thanks to a sudden change of plans. I'm glad we did; It's a charming old farmhouse B&B, with fantastic service. Luke, the general manager, was incredibly helpful and thoroughly polite and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. My wife and I had planned to have very little since we had a very early lunch...

Nice little B&B with converted stables for rooms and patio doors to go out and watch the hen roosts and field. Bed was comfortable and room was warm. Breakfast was served in a very old thatched farm house with many original features.

I would highly recommend Sampsons Farm as a place to stay. It felt like a home away from home as it was warm and welcoming, good facilities and fantastic breakfast. Staff were extremely friendly and always available and willing to help. I'd recommend the cheeseboard!

We stayed at Sampsons Farm on a crisp and bright weekend in January, with our two young girls. The welcome from Luke was warm and genuine and this continued throughout our stay. We stayed in the penthouse room which was perfect for us, large enough that we could spread out! Breakfast was varied and delicious and Luke catered to my...

We enjoyed meeting the goats who were outside our window (room number nine) they were funny to watch, we also liked the ducks...

As you drive down the windy road lined with hedges you come across the thatched roofed Sampsons Farm Hotel. Rolling into the courtyard you are met by geese and chickens as you park you car. Next comes the warm welcome from Nigel who shows you to your room while giving a rundown of the magnificent history of the building. The...

Room was adequately sized and very well finished given the age of the buildings. Luke gave us a very warm welcome and immediately showed us to our room across the courtyard which was warm and cosy and offered a welcome escape from the cold and dismal outside. Free WiFi access point was right outside our door and was fast enough...
