Have stayed here many times before and I must say that it never disappoints. Nice rooms, very friendly staff and as good a breakfast as you can get anywhere. We also eat in the restaurant on two evenings and had wonderful meals with excellent service both times. The third night we eat at Chewton Glen, which came nowhere close. I...

As you drive into the guest car park you could be in Spain or France such is the frontage of the hotel . On my one night stay I was delighted with my room and the whole experience was first class . Well lit but not overlooked even the furniture including the bathroom was classy . The reception staff were...

I was recommended the Lord Bute Hotel by a friend who says Sunday lunch is amazing. I rang and booked the Boardroom as we were allowed to bring our dog with us. It was pricey at £150 but having checked the website I decided to treat my husband to a five star experience for his birthday. The hotel is more...

Thank you for taking the time to review the Lord Bute. We are surprised and disappointed by some of your comments. The Lord Bute is graded by the AA as a five star guest accommodation and not as a Hotel, indeed our pricing in no way reflects those of a five star hotel. We are definitely not and never have...

Stayed at the LB following an online blogger review. Whilst the main hotel was fine the Garden Suite was fantastic. Frankly we didn't need nor want to leave it. We didn't use the restaurant except for breakfast. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast a slight disappointment, coffee was burnt and ingredients could have been improved in my opinion...

We knew early on in our wedding planning that The Lord Bute was the choice for us. Something about the design of the building, the warmth of the staff and the beautiful surroundings just hits you. We knew, just like we knew when we found our home that it was the right call, and booked our wedding that day. From...

The lady who runs the place is extremely welcoming. The hotel was very clean and there was a decent breakfast too. Located a few mins walk from the sandy beach which we accessed via Highcliffe Castle. Would definitely stay there again.

A really nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent and nothing was to much trouble. Would have no hesitation in recommending and would return for another visit.

This is a really lovely hotel, with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. I was shown to my room by the receptionist, who because i was late had to come away from the restaurant. But nothing was too much trouble. The room was perfect and i would definitely stay again.
