My wife and I stayed there two years ago on route to Devon without reading the reviews and I am afraid to say that it is as bad as most rewiewers say. After only two days staying we and the other guests stood at the top of the stairs comparing notes as to who had the worst room. We won. Upon...

We stayed four nights at Salmon's Reach which is a B&B guest house in a great location that's just about walking distance from Mudeford Quay and Avon Beach. The double room where my wife and I stayed in was quite small and the decor was somewhat tired. The bathroom was OK except that the shower control was the wrong way...

My room was kind of good, yet the owners were weird, one evening the owners were yelling at someone else, and we heard punchings, at the end the police came and we went to the beach, the rest is okay except for the owner and how unclean everything was. I definetly recommend this for one nights, but not for 5.

Sadly this accommodation was not suitable for a disabled person, despite the website saying it had disabled facilities... The en-suite was so small my husband could only use the toilet if he sat on the side, there was insufficient room in front for his legs. There were no grip bars in the shower. The sink was very small. In addition...

Me and the hubby spent one night at Salmons Reach in the summer. The people were friendly enough for what we saw of them and cooked us a lovely brekkie in the morning before we left. The stay was very pricey for the two of us considering the decor and facilities. The room we had was set back slightly from...

My friend and I stayed at the Salmon Reach for three nights over the August bank holiday. We found the guest house to be clean and comfortable (although the decor could perhaps do with a little updating). We enjoyed a full breakfast, so it was well worth the £70 a night we paid. It was in a good location -...

My husband and I managed to find this B&B at short notice, especially during the busy summer. But I so wish I had spent a bit more money and done my research. The male owner's greeting was rather bizarre (like he couldn't really be bothered) and the shock of our room - in a word, DRAB! Not at all like...
