Me and wife and our four legged friend stayed here for two nights mid-August. It's in a perfect location for Symonds Yat, and is surrounded by endless beautiful countryside. The rooms are small but tidy. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. If the weather allows it, have your breakfast outside and enjoy the...

Lovely, exceptionally clean, dog friendly accomodation in beautiful setting right opposite the Forest of Dean so excellent for walkies. Exceptionally friendly hosts and marvellous breakfast which can be taken in the garden weather permitting with your dog-outstanding views across the valley. Breakfast set us up for the day but there are many dog friendly pubs in the area according to...

Fairly well concur with everything said on here; we had a short B&B break. Excellent location, breakfasts excellent, owners very welcoming and helpful, the area around has everything for a holiday, owners' guides for walks....... Why 4* - well really 4.5*, and I guess the self-catering with field views would get 5*. Wifi is present but variable, other than that,...

Our first visit here, and won't be our last, fantastic welcome, lovely cosy room with four poster bed, lots of soft fluffy towels and a breakfast to die for. Stayed two nights and wish we had booked longer, lovey location, benches in just the right spots to enjoy the perfect views and home made jam, what more could you wish...

The owner was very welcoming. Our cabin had a gorgeous view of fields for miles. Sitting outside our rooms eating breakfast was the perfect way to start the day. The lodge provided maps of walking routes. The one we took was amazing and the view was spectacular (the 7 mile route). A few descent pubs were within walking distance as...

The location was very good but the apartments had tiny TVs which were hard to see from the tiny settee! Great views but too close to the neighbours if you are all out on the "patio". Also if you need any internet connection it's only in the owners house and doesn't have a booster so you can't get wifi at...

Friendly and helpful owners - nothing is too much trouble. Great views from the garden, excellent breakfast, lots of guide books and maps to look at. Spotlessly clean rooms with comfortable beds. This is a great spot for exploring the lovely countryside and visiting nearby Symonds Yat Rock where peregrine falcons can be seen and the river Wye for walking/canoeing...

Amazing views and very friendly owners. Secure lock up available for bikes. Good sized rooms with everything you could need, including all local information, the only thing which let it down was the lack of WiFi which was really disappointing to a computer networker who booked as it said WiFi available. Would recommend to others and would use again bearing...

We booked just the one night, next time we'd stay at least 2 (so, yes, there would be a next time). We were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were well maintained, clean & had all that we needed. We had Rooms 1 & 2. Room 1 had variable wifi- but not a problem. We enjoyed the detailed walk notes...

Stayed 1 night in B&B, first time in area. Walks from the lodge, close to Symonds Yat. Lots of information and owners very helpful. Choice of breakfast inside or in lovely garden. Excellent breakfast, home made jams from local produce picked by owner. Good phone signal but not strong wi fi, but that made the visit all the better for...
