From the initial enquiry phone call to the wave goodbye, our friendly hosts made us feel special. Mike welcomed us, offered help with the bags and served us in the bar and restaurant while Lesley made excellent food. The honeymoon suite had been dressed with fresh flowers to help us to celebrate an anniversary. Everything was clean and organised. Service...

My husband and I stayed here when visiting Puzzlewood and were so pleased with our accommodations. Mike helped carry our luggage upstairs and answered any questions we had about the area. It can be challenging to find places that cater to families of five in the UK so we loved the upstairs section we had with a private bedroom and...

Run down from the outside and old fashioned inside but reviews sounded good so thought we would try Sunday lunch. We received a friendly welcome but host needs to drop the word 'folkes' which he repeats each time he comes to table! There was no atmosphere and sitting in the lounge/bar area was like waiting in a Dr's surgery. A...

Mike and Lesley were the PERFECT hosts, they could not have done anymore to make the stay of myself and my family any more enjoyable. I got the feeling that there was nothing that they would not do to makes one's stay enjoyable. The Hotel itself is a beautiful character building in a serene setting with a spacious car park...
