Our three night stay was excellent. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Helpfully, also dog friendly and they were very welcoming to Rodney our Rottweiler. The Rock has an excellent situation; it is literally across the road from the beautiful High Meadow Woods area and a few miles walk from Symonds Yat and the Wye valley. All in all,...

Our two night stay whilst visiting family in the Forest was first class. Couldn't fault anything. Room was very comfortable, everything was exceptionally clean and the breakfast was beautifully cooked (very large so be warned!)

Great location with lots to do locally, tasty breakfast, comfortable room and friendly and helpful hosts. The views from the rooms are amazing. The hot tub with a view across the valley was a great extra especially to soak away the aches from a day's mountain biking.

I can honestly say that this is one of the best B&Bs I have stayed at. Incredibly welcoming, a whole wealth of local information provided, stunning views, great breakfast (veggie sausages were yummy), good bedrooms (we had Ross room) with comfy beds. And a great spot as a base for all the things the Forest has to offer (we are...

Myself & colleague stayed for one night as we were booked to do a 4x4 course at the Whitecliff centre. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely bedrooms, comfortable beds and excellent shower facilities. The cooked breakfast was a treat we didn't expect. Nice to hear you had a good stay, we do actually have torches we can loan out, the road is a little dark even though there are street lights. But on the other hand this is a great place to enjoy the night sky as we don't have a lot of light pollution!
