We stayed in one of the camping pods last weekend. I've stayed at this site many times over the years and the camping pods are a nice addition to the site, perfect for when the weather gets a bit too cold and wet for camping. The forest looks stunning at this time of year. The pods are basic, as you'd...

Just stayed for 4 nights, decided on hard standing this time as we were amongst tents when we had grass with electric and the kids from the tents were throwing Frisbys and kicking balls around which isn't ideal around caravans. Hard standing pitches fine and laid out in 3 rows with plenty space. We didnt use the toilet facilities as...

Loved this site for years and years but its under invested in. They have put hard standing in which in my opinion has removed the character from the site and the shower blocks are really showing their age. the staff do an awesome job but the head office needs to invest in the place.

Well run and organised site, no issues to report. A lot of rules but in fairness there has to be to ensure everyone has a great time which I appreciate. I would recommend this place and I will be going back. For the record there was 6 camper-vans (12 people) in our group and it was never an issue. Hats...

Nice clean camping and caravan club site. Clean toilets and showers. All you would expect from the C,C&C. Staff were friendly and on hand to help should you need it. Don't arrive via Symmons Yat Rock if your not prepared to traverse single track rds. Don't panic you can go round :) Will be going again. I've heard it is...

We have stayed all over Europe so it was a bit unadventurous to travel just an hour from home to Bracelands. We had booked in on line so the check in was quick and courteous. The hard standing sites were well spaced out with adjacent hook up from a plinth with a light on top - helpful in the dark....

My boys didn't want to go camping. I messed up the booking the night before and on arrival pitched up in the only field we were politely asked not to use! I had been so stressed I couldn't even read the site plan but the gentleman kindly let us stay put. I would have had a breakdown if I had...

large grassy site in good position for exploring Forest Of Dean. Checking in took an age due to over complicated computer system. Payed for myself and my wife for 4 nights, and for my daughter her 7 month old baby and car to join us the following day. I fell foul of site staff when she arrived after 100mile drive...

We visited the area for a weekend, and were pleased with the campsite. The facilities were clean and tidy, and we were given a nice spot away from the 'rowdies' (as the staff called them!). The site is handy for visiting the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. We weren't visited by the wild boar, but did have an overnight...
