We stayed two nights at Middleton Grange in a large comfortable room on the upper floor. There were little extras, snacks, chocolate etc which were a nice touch. Our room overlooked the fields and garden and was very quiet, despite a railway line nearby. Our hosts Salli and George were friendly and welcoming, as was Oliver the dog. Breakfast was...

Lovely B&B in a great location. Nice double room overlooking the garden. Good choice for breakfast especially the strawberries and rhubarb & ginger to start with. Only stayed one night but made to feel very welcome.

We were given a comfortable double on the upper floor overlooking the gardens. The owners Salli and George made us feel very much at home. The breakfast was excellent and the location was close to the town and the Railway Station. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and we will definitely be returning.

We, (Me and "Izzy" the Smooth Fox Terrier) were given a comfortable double in the upper floor. Greeted at the door by the Owner despite being an hour over my ETA. That was good. Once settled in I was able to pre-order my breakfast ready for the morning. I really good nights sleep as the Hotel is situated out in...

Booked at short notice. Beautiful countryside location but close to the town. A lovely old, quirky house. Excellent hosts and excellent breakfast - fresh eggs, homegrown fruit and local produce. Hosts go out of their way to help.

Difficult to know how to rate this property. The hosts were great, really helpful and knowledgable about the local area but it wasn't the best experience we've had. We started by grounding the car on the drive. The house is not that easy to find and it took a while before someone came to let us in.the room was OK...

I stayed here for a night on business. Had a friendly welcome from the owners who were very accommodating and lovely to talk to. They had their family over at the time who were also very friendly! The room was a good size and was warm. There was a lovely selection of fruit, cereals and cooked breakfast in the morning....

This was our second stay at the Middleton Grange and hopefully not our last. Lovely gardens surround this old house which is full of character. The owners George and Salli are great hosts and provide a really nice breakfast. Dogs are very welcome. Oh and the beds are really comfortable!

We needed somewhere to stay with our dog on route to family gathering. The property was set in beautiful grounds and surrounding countryside. Ample parking and very friendly, helpful hosts. Room was lovely and warm, bed really comfy and everything you needed and gorgeous view of garden, lake, snowdrops and horses through the windows. In the morning we had a...
