We had a fantastic 3 day break at this magical inn and cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience. A warm welcome, superb food which was faultless, stunning views over the Fowey estuary and a comfortable room. The staff were great and we had...More

Although our stay was conformtable enough, we felt it very old fashioned that our private bathroom was not an en-suite and instead was down the corridor with a seperate key to let ourselves in and out. This is not very practical if needing the toilet...More

View from rooms of river are fantastic Chef owner was very helpful and food was fantastic. Please try the chicken supreme. It is. Will not hesitate to return. All staff lovely. Pub a bit dated but locals are very friendly. Pam + Frank

Take the ferry from Fowey to Bodinnick (2 minutes) & pub overlooks Fowey harbour. Some steps to climb to reach the restaurant but very pleasant dining room with views across the estuary. Good choice of menu & food was good though steak was underdone.

The Old Ferry Inn is in Bodinnick, the east side of the Fowey river. If you want to go to Fowey, it is easiest to catch the ferry across. To drive there is a long way round! If you take the ferry across please note the time... More

There is a nice pub "The Ship Inn" at Lerryn, which is about 3 miles away down the country lanes on the Bodinnick side, or you could drive or get a taxi the 10 miles to Polruan where there is The Lugger and the Russell Inn... More
