Great campsite, no pompous rules, the view is magnificent, not ridiculously priced as some of the other sites. All are welcome and the staff are very helpful and accommodating. Penhale is definitely one of our firm favourite sites to visit with my beloved splitty camper!

Our 2nd visit to penhale, and will be returning again We booked a static caravan, there was just the 2 of us, and two, large dogs. The caravan was above the standard I expected for the price, and had everything we needed The site itself was quiet, very well kept, and the staff we met helpful and friendly I think...

We spent five days here over August bank holiday and loved it here. As many people have mentioned the views are spectacular! You are also within a 15 minute walk to Polkerris beach which has a pub and a beach bar and Fowey is also close. The facilities are simple but were spotlessly clean with the most beautiful flowers in...

Stayed for 2 weeks with my family and 2 dogs. Pitch 27 was pretty level and had a good view. The site is fairly basic and quiet which is good and is in the perfect location to explore the area. Fowey, St Austell and Mevagissey are a short drive away and par beach was great being just down the road....

We had booked a dog friendly caravan at Penhale and the one we were allocated (No. 4) was far from what we had expected. The first thing we noticed was the state of the seating - it was a mess. It's covers were shredded into strips, not the sort of damage a dog might do but it appeared to be...

My husband and I stayed here this month and will definitely return to this site. The check in was easy and the site was kept immaculately clean by the very jolly cleaner. The showers and toilets were near and although the beach was a 10 minute walk away it was well worth it. The owners of Penhale also kindly offer...

We have just come back from 8 night s here, and wow what a site. The views are to die for. Your pitch looks over the Cornish coastline where you could actually sit looking at it all day, at night you can see the lights of Mevagissy. BUT the sight of the moon reflecting on the sea takes your breath...

Great campsite, I stayed for about 4 nights and had a great pitch that looked out at two bays over rolling country. There were friendly other campers, the facilities were in good condition and well looked after and the layout felt spacious yet compact enough not to have to walk far to get to the shower block and so on....
