6 of us ate here on Friday 13th April 2012. Food was ok. All served on time and hot. Hotel is VERY tired and in dire need of a refurb! Residents lounge looks, feels and smells like an old peoples home. Staff were all very nice and did the best with what they had to work with. Wouldn't rush back.

My husband and I stayed one night at this hotel. I would recommend it due to the price alone as we paid £60 for two people and this included breakfast. Well worth it if you are passing through. The reception staff are helpful if a little busy with having to deal with the restaurant within the hotel as well. What... More

This hotel is good value for money and has a very helpful staff. The breakfast which is inclusive of the price is wide ranging and substantial so it does give you a good start to the day. It is a fairly old building right in the main street so I suppose it could be a little noisy from time to... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ben Mhor for one night at the end of February 2012. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. Our room wason the 2nd floor which was lovely and warm. We had a large comfortable bed, and the room was the right temperature for us. We ate in the No 55 Bistro, which... More

We stayed at the Ben Mhor as part of a large group and were very happy with all aspects of our two night stay. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly, helpful and keen to make us feel welcome. Given that the hotel has a very narrow main-street frontage, it is unsurprising that most bedrooms are accessed via... More

Crisp packets left on window sill, and shower bottle tops left in shower so room obviously not cleaned properly. Smell of fried food permeates building. 'Disco' on Saturday night, extremely loud music until well after midnight ruined my stay.

Dear Mrs Preston, Your review is damaging to us and focusses entirely on the negative aspects of your stay. May I apologise for the second time for any inconvenience caused by noise on Saturday night.
