Me and my family went to this hotel in august and as soon as i saw the room i knew there was no way we could stay there. As you can see from the pictures, it’s not been cleaned for god knows how long and is absolutely filthy. I understand there are a lot of rooms to clean however this was on a next level and actually appalling especially with coronavirus still being a risk. We went to reception and asked to be moved rooms but this wasn’t any better and we still weren’t able to stay in a room like it. As a family we had been in 4 rooms in total and all rooms were disgusting. After trying to get a refund for months we still haven’t got out money back. Do not stay at this hotel!!

What an absolute shambles....... I booked this hotel for a couple of friends (4 single rooms for 4 adults for 3 nights) I originally booked this for a weekend in August. The booking was made in July - Then due to covid this had to be changed. The management at the hotel were adamant that a refund would not happen and that it may be ok to change the dates. The dates were agreed. We arrived at the hotel and given all the information - Due to Covid the rooms would not be serviced so If we needed anything, Including toilet roll we had to ask at reception! How embarrassing - Why there weren't enough toilet rolls in the room for the weekend is beyond me! One of my fiends rooms didn't have any!! I was then asked for payment -£480, I said that I had already paid this and was given a long explanation of how their "system" works -I also showed the guy in reception my online banking app and was told - "Oh that will be credited back onto your card in a couple of days" It wasn't - The hotel had taken £480 off my card when I first booked in July The hotel had taken £480 off my card when I was due to first stay in August The Hotel had taken £480 off my card when I checked in. It took months to get my refunds returned to me, an ongoing saga with excuse after excuse as to why I hadn't received my full payments - Perhaps they needed to hold onto the money to buy extra toilet rolls! I finally received my refund three months after the stay - An absolute shambles On top of this the rooms are terrible in desperate need of an upgrade - There were holes in the carpet, poor showers, very noisy. Great Yarmouth has lots of hotels - take my advice and book somewhere else!!

This Hotel is appalling, we booked a room and once in the room couldn't believe the state of it, stains, mould, exposed wires under the basin, broken blind, patched up holes in the wall, theres no way we were staying I value my health especially with Covid! We were promised a refund but when the Manager was due in. We have phoned the Hotel every week since and we are told every time he's not in and nobody else can refund me. There not even bothered if you have pictures and are willing to expose them. Another man was at reception was asking for a refund at the same time we were. Just dreadful in every way possible, sleep in your car rather than stay here!

Nice enough for the price we paid. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Would benefit from an update and some basic maintenance. Shower was scarey.. didn't know switches were allowed in bathrooms. The photo shows what I mean.
