Just got back from a five day shearings holiday at this hotel . A bit dated but overall a very enjoyable stay. Food very good especially the chefs special. Had to wait over an hour for main course first night as oven broke in kitchen but these things happen sometimes and the manager did give me a free pint !...

We again stayed on a National Holidays weekend. Hotel is old and tired. However it is clean. In our room the bathroom window would not close on our last night so we had to leave it open. The food was great pleanty of choice at breakfast and a choice of courses at dinner.

Was looking forward to going back to this hotel, I was not disappointed, the hotel has been decorated recently and room(104) has a new shower. Food was plentiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will come here again.

On arrival the public rooms are bright and fresh. The staff were organised for our coaches arrival. Then sadly our room burst the bubble a bit! It was tired and shabby furnishings with 'rubbed/dirty' paintwork. However we thought no point in complaining as we quite liked its location and outlook. Our first meal wasn't great and we feared we had...

We have just returned from a 3 night Shearing weekend break at this hotel. We were allocated room 110 and this room turned out to be the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room was cold and damp with a fire escape door in one corner of the room. The wallpaper was black underneath the windows. The...

Worst hotel i have ever stayed in; tatty decor, absolutely revolting food, poor food hygiene, poor service and an overall lack of care and attention. I'm afraid i would find it hard to think of a single redeeming feature of the hotel.
