We found this hotel offered a great location, close to the harbour, restaurants, and downtown. The stsff was welcoming and most helpful. The head of housekeeping went out of her way to accommodate us when we arrived early for check in.

We had a terrific visit to Halifax and our stay at the Delta was fantastic. The very best thing about this hotel is the staff. Thank you for everything. The location was great. The rooms were bright and clean. The amenities were good. Overall would definitely recommend this

Average price of entrée - is there a prix fixe dinner menu?
I had the lobster dinner which came to $40 including mussels, clam chowder and a rasberry pudding dessert. I believe wthe average entree is about twenty dollars. Add $15 for anything additional. My boyriend had fish tacos which he loved. Remember, the seafood restaurants that are " highly recommended " cost market price for a one and a quarter pound lobster - $32 when we were there, and $10 each additional half pound. If you can do without a view of the water, you will save a lot of money by eating lobster at the hotel. Restaurants in Halifax are all moderately priced compared to NYC.

"It is a remantic hotel if you are with the right person. Room on second floor had breakfast room right outside. For me, it was romantic."
