Kate is just simply an amazing host. She's super and this is the second time I have stayed here. Her welcome is second to none and her breakfasts are to die for. Rooms are welcoming and beds so comfy. Can't wait to make a return trip.

The people were very friendly. She recommended us a nice place for dinner and a very interesting place to visit the next day. And the room was lovely. We had a huge nice bed and we could see the sea from our window.

My husband and I stayed here in November 2005, we were getting married the next day in Portsmouth. It was a wonderful stay, when we returned later we had roses in our room. Then lady who ran it was so friendly, breakfast was great. Would love to go back there.

This is the second time we have had the privilege to stay at Cockle Warren Cottage and it will certainly not be the last. Ideally placed directly opposite the seafront, owner Kate is an exemplary host and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped inside. Breakfast is more than adequate and lovingly prepared and served by Jim in...

We stayed here as part of a large group, most of us couples, with my son and his two cousins (all under 3 at the time). The cottage is large and clean, with plenty of space for both cooking, eating and socialising for all 11 adults and 3 kids. The pool was fantastic and had little steps at one end...

I don't know where to start. Kate was so welcoming to us and our dog, we had cups of tea when we arrived whilst sitting in a beautifully warm lounge. Then we were shown to a lovely big bedroom overlooking the sea. Every convenience was provided. The bed was so comfortable. Jim provided a great breakfast, very tasty. We only...
