We arrived late but nothing was a problem for Jon and Sally in ensuring we got settled into our self-catering accommodation; tea, fresh milk and directions to various attractions. The accommodation is perfect, clean, cosy, warm and homely. We were there on business and pleasure and this was a perfect location to meet our needs. The breakfast is top notch...

Don't expect 5* luxury or pamperings at this B&B establishment. It is very quirky, rustic and what you see is what you get. Jon and Sally are charming hosts. They run and manage a 25acre farm as well as the B&B. The rooms in the house are rustic and wooden but both with en-suite, tv, tea/coffee facilities. Jon's breakfasts are...

This is a beautiful farm and Jon and Sally are the perfect hosts. The knowledge and friendliness was fantastic. The garden they have created is beautiful and we had many evenings having a red wine sitting there enjoying the surroundings Accommodation was first class and if we return again from Australia we would certainly stay there again

Jon and Sally are lovely hosts. Our self catering apartment was beautiful with a log fire. We still had Jon's lovely breakfasts in the morning. It was a lovely break away from the city. This place is a little treasure. I highly recommend it. Bring your wellies for a scenic walk around

The rooms have everything you want for a short stay including tv, kitche area and en suite rooms. The beds are so comfy too. A full english breakfast every morning was just the tonic in readoness for...

This is a great location to base yourselves if staying in the area, certainly if your diving at Stoney Cove, the nearby diving quarry. The rooms are clean and tidy, you have the run of the garden which is extensive and breakfast is certainly hearty farmhouse food, the owners are very chatty and certainly welcoming. If your diving it's not...

We stayed one night at Abbey Farm with our 2 year old boy. Sally and Jon, the owners, were really friendly and welcoming. Jon showed us around their pretty garden and let our little one feed the rams and the fish in the pond - he was over the moon! The room was very clean and well catered for, and...

Spent a few days at Abbey Farm for a family reunion. The self catering accommodation was homely, cosy and very welcoming and the wood burning stove was a joy. The hospitality offered by Jon and Sally was exceptional but not intrusive. Would love to return in the summer to enjoy the lovely garden.

We stayed in this warm and cozy self-catering accommodation for a long weekend in November and will certainly be going back. Lot's to recommend about it - friendly hosts, option of breakfast even in self-catering, log burner, understated decoration with creative flair - we loved that not everything matched and the fairy lights - plus you have the lovely countryside...
