Tastefully renovated, very comfortable with some quirky touches. During our overnight stay we had an excellent evening meal and a good choice of breakfast. The staff were very welcoming, pleasing and helpful. We will certainly stay here again when next in the area.

Picked this hotel mainly because it was close to where friends live (not seen for 25 years). We were greeted by very efficient and friendly staff who showed us to our room, which was clean and tidy. Later met friends in the well appointed restaurant where we were served delicious food before retirng to their well appointed Bar for an...

We stayed here for one evening. The hotel has a lovely bar in which we had a drink before dinner...reasonably priced cocktails. It was a Friday and full of atmosphere with a lovely log burning stove. We dined in the restaurant and it has a great menu, lots of choice and well priced. We had a great meal and our...

Comfy rooms and great staff. The redecorated bar is absolutely charming and the newly refurbished restaurant looks wonderful. The hotel was busy and buzzy and we will definitely come back for again to try the restaurant. The breakfast this morning was really, really good (one of the best hotel breakfasts ever, in fact) - freshly cooked to order, a novelty...

Four of us had a lovely meal one lunchtime before Christmas and it was delicious. We each chose the festive menu which had a good selection of starters, mains and desserts. The food was great and the service excellent, couldn't fault it in any way.

We had a family room and it was more than large enough for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 6 beds and a large bathroom and lounge room. Great facilities. lovely breakfast and dining area. Antony (owner) really knows his coffee which is especially appreciated in the this part of the world.

I booked this hotel over the phone for Christmas dinner with my family of 6, I had flown in so was not familiar with the hotel, my first and I discovered my only concern is the limited parking outside, but the friendly excellent service and great food you receive inside makes it worth finding a car park space. Decorated well...
