We live locally and needed somewhere to stay while our bathroom is being refitted. We knew of the Country House from our travels around the area and were very pleased to see that they are dog friendly. What a lovely place. It's a short distance from the M6 J19, but quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable room with an excellent bed,...

I'm not a fan of B&Bs (I prefer the anonymity of hotels!) but this was a nice stay. A great room and excellent breakfast with outstanding service throughout, at a very affordable price. I'll gladly use it again.

Excellent independent B&B which was nice and clean. I had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was also very very nice. Some really nice walks in the area too. A really nice change from the standard hotel chain

I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. Initially I chose Pickmere Country House because of it's location, near to two places I had business at; it turned out to be a good choice for other reasons too. There is good parking at the house, with overflow parking a very short distance away. After a long and tedious drive...

Stayed here one night as eating in nearby Great Budworth. It is a large former farmhouse with lots of history which is properly reflected in the accommodation. The room was large and well furnished with an en suite bathroom that was smallish but perfectly functional with a good shower. Bed was comfy, tea making facilities, small tv and good wifi....

This is our second visit to this hotel and again the hotel is excellent. The owners always welcome you on arrival, they are always helpful and friendly. The rooms are of a very high standard. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked fresh to order. Would recommend this hotel and will be back next year.

I stayed just one night arriving late last night 30/10. The arrangements I made with the owner for my late arrival worked out perfectly. The single room was small and very comfortable and had a private bathroom just across the corridor, very comfortable indeed. Unfortunately I could not stay for what looked like a fantastic breakfast menu due to my...

This was my first visit to Pickmere Country Guest house, although my husband had stayed here a couple of times previously. What a gem. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean, well thought out, lovely bright, stylish ensuite with automatic lighting. The bed was so comfortable I could have slept there forever. An absolutely delicious, scrumptious, beautifully presented breakfast. The...

Pickmere B&B has so many rooms it meant a group of friends were all able to stay there for a wedding - making it easy for the taxi and fun to share breakfast together. There was a fantastic choice of breakfast options, which were very tasty and served very quickly! We were able to arrive late the night before and...
