first time to Loughborough, a business trip and stayed only 2 nights couldn't find a fault! all the staff at the restaurant is excellent and very attentive. Very good food, nice breakfast in the morning accompanied by a pleasant chat with a very friendly Italian girl! Highly recommended to friends and family or to a next visit! Enza

Very nice place to stay in Loughborough. Just be aware that the restaurant is not staffed 24/7, so choose your arrival time when staff are available. Also the car park is tight but I had no trouble manoeuvring my Audi A3 in and out. The water wasn't very hot and the shower was positively lukewarm. Most importantly I was kept... More

What a fantastic place. There are 5 rooms above the restaurant all with oak beams and my room the Hastings overlooking the church had an inglenook fireplace unfortunately too warm to have it lit. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly.

Booked this due to its location being fairly close for the Great Central Railway. Arrived earlier than planned but were let in and shown to a lovely large room at the rear of the building, nice and quiet. Had not planned for an evening meal and as it was a popular place we took a chance. The manager was able... More

really lovely rooms with great tv's and a four poster bed and a lot of character and an ensuite bathroom in the one I had BUT the parking is atrocious and I struggled with my dinky little car, I have no idea where else you could park that is near.

We stayed at Caravellis for two nights and very pleased with the room. We had the central room which has exposed beams & timbers, a four-poster bed, a chaise long he, traditional furniture and a roll-top bath. The bath was actually in the room, behind a carved wooden screen! A word of warning, this room only has a hand-held shower... More

The room was fabulous; 4-poster bed, inglenook beams, roll top bath, etc. It had quite a "wow factor" to it! The room was spacious, clean and tidy. After strolling around town, we had an evening meal in the restaurant. The food was really good quality. We were surprised to see how busy the restaurant was for a Tuesday evening, before... More

I booked this at the last minute so I could travel back with my son who was graduating and off to the ball. The owner was lovely and so welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The room itself was one of the smaller ones but still a good size with an en suite shower room. The bed was very comfortable.... More

I had actually eaten in the restaurant two years ago and was returning to the area. It was purely by accident that I realised the property had rooms. I booked via Booking.com for two nights over the weekend. It was interesting to read that the property was one of the oldest in Loughborough so was looking forward to seeing the... More
