Over priced for the quality and size of the portions. My cod and chips tasted nice, but a very small portion and served in a bowl which made it hard to cut, for the money greatly overpriced. Two kids meals of burger and chips came with very dry processed white rolls and a small blob of cooked mince inside each,...

I had heard that The Mayflower had been recently refurbished so when seeing a good deal come up on a Booking.com search we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed. My wife, two daughters and I were in the area for a long weekend. We had spent the day at Mudeford but love Lymington and wanted...

What an absolute shame and terrible change to a pub that was much loved by locals and visitors alike. The character of a traditional New Forest pub has ripped out and instead we are left with an establishment with a personality crisis, trying to be something it is not. Whilst not a parent, the removal of the children's play area...

I went here with 5 friends and my little dog. The whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food has (I think recently) improved on an already good menu and we had some very high quality food! The crab and lists macaroni and the scallops were a real highlight!! We were mostly served by...

We walked down to the Mayflower after a day at Lymington market. As it was breezy, we opted to sit indoors and order from the a la cartel menu. Initially we chose the fish platter to share. The waitress informed us that the platter was plentiful and recommended we ordered a side of fries each as we were having it...

Very clean, modern hotel. The restaurant has excellent menu with delicious food. The rooms are spacious, boutique style. Very good service. Particularly impressed with fresh milk delivered to our room every morning!

The Mayflower is situated right on the harbourside of Lymington, in the old town. The venue has plenty of parking and is ideally situated for super views of the waterfront with moored boats with tall spinnakers. The building is seriously impressive with a great frontage and façade. The back of the building has plenty more outside seating and canopied areas...

12 of us went in here today for an early dinner, but when told it was £1.50 for a packet of crisps we decided that this was very expensive and decided to go else where. This decision to get rid of the children's play area cemented this decision and we will be no longer visiting this establishment.

I have just returned from a disappointing lunchtime experience at the Mayflower. We sat outside on the terrace and were given the menus. However we were told we could not have food from the garden menu on the terrace. This caused a problem as one of our party of four wanted a burger from the garden menu, was she then...
