Stayed here for one night and booked a table in the restaurant for dinner. The room was excellent. Very comfortable and nicely furnished. The food in the restaurant was very good as was the service. Pleasant atmosphere in the bar.

After staying some nights crammed into a London hotel this one is a great relief. Huuuuge rooms, great bathroom, very friendly and hospitable staff. And the dining was great, too. This one's a very good idea if you look for an overnight stay or just dinner at the south coast of England. Go for it.

What a lovely pub and fantastic bedrooms. As you walk in you feel the warmth, the staff are very friendly and a special mention to Blair who is a natural and is an asset to the hospitality industry. A few business could learn a thing or two from these guys. The bedrooms are very high end, nicely decorated, very comfortable....

Went here after googling it and, from description, thought it would have great views!!! It probably does from the bedrooms but, not from anywhere in the pub that we could find. Inside bar, was really nice lovely seating areas and plush surroundings. excellent service. I started with the mushroom soup which was absolutely delicious, unfortunately I followed with the burger,...

Just returned from an overnight stay at the incredibly cosy Mayflower hotel. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of parking and only a 10min stroll to the high street. There are some quaint intimate pubs around with roaring log fires to spend hours in front of. Weather was stormy and freezing but we were kindly provided with a small...

My husband, Lottie the pug and I visited after Christmas and it was lovely. The room was gorgeous, the attention to detail couldn't be faulted and we felt very welcome with our pet. Some hotels that say they're dog friendly don't let the dogs into the restaurant area but the staff at The Mayflower couldn't have been more accommodating. We...

We booked to stay at the Mayflower over Christmas on recommendations from friends. The pub is well situation in a quiet location and on arrival we were warmly welcomed and had a lovely meal. Unfortunately we experienced a loud noise from the radiator a few times during the first night which disrupted our sleep. We mentioned this the next morning...
