We found this wonderful B & B on TripAdvisor. We were welcomed with a cup of tea, shown to our room, which was of a very high standard, both furnishings and cleanliness. Carole and Nick made us most welcome. What better way to start the day than with a full English breakfast whilst looking out of the window and seeing...

What a fantastic B and B! Carole and Nick are wonderful hosts, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The location is perfect for exploring the area, especially if you enjoy walking and watching wildlife. The house is beautiful and full of interesting furniture and objects. The rooms are large, light and airy, and everything is...

We hadn't booked any accommodation before we arrived at Lymington and so went straight to the tourist information office who gave us a booklet of B & B's in New Forest. Pennavon looked the most rural so we were pleased when Carol said she had availability. On arrival we were asked if we wanted to see the room and as...

We stayed at Pennavon House to be near our sons who were staying with their families at a nearby campsite. We certainly made an excellent choice of B & B. Carol and Nick were very welcoming and offered us a cup of tea on arrival, a nice gesture. We were shown to our room (first room on left at top...

Warm welcome on arrival. Warm goodbye. And warm everything between. Pot of tea (and biscuits) every time we returned. Super breakfast and everything one could want in the en-suite bathroom. Carole and Nick are superb hosts.

We have just stayed 6 nights in a spotlessly clean, modern B&B with the most friendly hosts Carole and Nick who could not be more helpful. Carol cooked a huge full English breakfast that was so large after the first morning we asked for half breakfasts, which were cooked to order as requested ie well done bacon and sausage.Served hot and...

I can't recommend this place highly enough and would echo all of the comments in the previous reviews. In addition to the place being wonderful it is in a great location. 5 minute walk to the sea wall and paths around the coast and a 5 min walk to a great pub! What more could you need. Carol & Nick...

Just returned from a fantastic 2 night stay at Pennavon B&B. Nick and Carol are lovely hosts, very welcoming and chatty. Spotlessly clean, wonderful bedroom and en suite, fantastic views across salt marshes from the window. First class breakfast in the mornings. We will certainly be coming back and would recommend this to our friends!

The welcome was warm and the room nicer than any hotel i have stayed in (including some five star ones). Breakfast was not only good quality but also huge, i'm 6'4" and about 15 stone and still struggled to eat it all, so if you aren't hungry make sure you tell Carole! From conversations with other guests it is apparent...

We have just returned from a lovely weekend made even better by the excellent hosting of Nick and Carole. The rooms are gorgeous and spotlessly clean with everything you could need. Anything not already there would be no problem for Nick and Carole to get for you. The lovely welcome of tea and biscuits gave us a genuine feeling about...
