We stayed for 2 nights at the East End Arms. Our room was a good size with a really large, comfortable bed. The decor is understated and attractive but I did have a couple of gripes. In common with a number of other places we have visited the room lighting is very subdued, which creates a lovely ambiance but is... More

My wife and I stopped over at this superbly located, old inn in the The New Forest on our way home to East Sussex from South Devon. What a find! Our standard double room was well proportioned, very comfortable, with a very large bed and wonderful power shower. The view from our window was very pleasant and the nespresso coffee... More

My partner and I came here for lunch whilst on holiday in the New Forest. A friend had recommended it to us and we were not disappointed. My partner had the beef and I had gnocchi. The food was of excellent quality and tasted divine!! The menu is a small menu, but is definitely quality over quantity. They also do... More

We are locals and do not usually review places on our doorstep, however after a wonderful evening here I had to. Come and eat and stay here. Fresh beautifully cooked food, brilliant staff with Danielle and Ellie who cannot do enough for you. The Romes are well equipped with huge beds and even an nespresso machine. Great locals bar -... The food and service at this place is fantastic, way beyond your normal pub grub. We went as a group of nine women for a friend's birthday but it is equally suitable for couples. It was £30 for two courses and wine. We brought our own birthday cake which they cut for us and let us have as dessert. Parking... More

A quiet location just 3 miles from Lymington, good food and wine, friendly locals and helpful staff. What's not to like. The food was of a high standard with several fish dishes And plenty of other choices.

We went with high hopes as many in our party had dined here before. But ended up disappointed. Service was slow, and staff seemed somewhat disengaged. Pleasant enough but certainly in no hurry. Wine list was quite good as was menu. Plenty of options. Beer and wine did not let hotel down but the food did. Risotto was certainly a... More

We chose this pub based on previous reviews and it was disappointing. On the plus side, the location is good and dinner was truly excellent. Couldn't fault it and would definitely dine here again. But as a B & B, a few things need fixing to justify £110 a night for a standard double. Room 4 has a rusty bar... More

We stayed here two nights as we have our annual sailing trip with Lymington Yacht Charters. The rooms are very well appointed and clean; we were in room 4. The pub has 5 rooms in total. The food I had was very good, mostly fish on the menu. The lovely restaurant has many pictures of celebrities and some are very... More

What a superb pub and a great example of how things should be done. Booked our rooms 6 months in advance of our weekend trip away and kept in touch to make sure they were happy to accomodate us. On arrival checked in, showered and into the bar. At this point I would like to point out Danielle came into... More
