Can't praise this place highly enough. Five nights spent on business between two rooms, both excellent. Great breakfast and lovely staff and owners. Set in Cottesmore village, it's a short walk to an equally good chip shop cafe and a nice pub. Nice little touches everywhere, from complementary sherry, sweets and the best tea and coffee tray I think I've...

Stayed one night to attend a local function. Welcoming owners. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast with gluten free bread available and delicious orange juice . Fabulous room. Spotless. Faultless. Also sherry in room...a lovely touch.

I Booked into The Tithe Barn as it was the closest to the Party we were attending in Cottesmore Rutland. What a good choice. John was very polite and friendly when we arrived. He explained everything to us about our stay & offered to advise on places to visit in the area. The room was wonderful, very clean, spacious &...

We arrived for two nights away and were greeted with a friendly welcome. The rooms are lovely and airy and plenty of space for my partner and me. We were offered a variety of essentials during our stay and were advised to ask if we wanted anything at all. The beds are really comfortable and we slept brilliantly. The breakfast...

We had two nights in the tithe barn and it was everything you could wish for in an English b&b. The room was spotless and roomy. Maybe the shower room could have been a little larger. The sherry decanter is a lovely touch. They were happy to be flexible for us on the breakfast front and let us have a...

I stayed here for 2 weeks on business. It's a lovely old B&B in the beautiful village of Cottesmore. I received a very friendly welcome: my room had everything I needed, including an iron and board. My room was on-site, but some had a separate, but private bathroom. The breakfast was super - really good quality, delicious, local sausage, bacon...

Stayed her for work for a single night. I called ahead as I would not arrive to late which for a B&B can sometimes be an issue. Once I explained my suitation & estimated time of arrival the owner was very helpful and said it would not be an issue even though I would arrive nearly 2 hours past the...

We stayed at the Tithe Barn for one night last week on a two day tour of Rutland. We were upgraded to the room that has a small conservatory and opens onto the garden. It was lovely, with a superb electronic shower, large bed and a complimentary decanter of sherry! We met the two house cats, Murray and Max. Ample...

We stayed for two nights with our family to enable us to cycle around Rutland Water. The Tithe Barn is located about 5/10 mins max from the Barnsdale/Whitwell car parks so is ideal for this purpose. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after during our stay. We had one superior room which was very spacious and furnished to a...
