Booked into this hotel on impulse, finding ourselves in Ross on Wye. Great hotel, friendly staff, comfy bed although other furnishings were a little dated. We also had a room right at the top in the roof space which was quite a climb up winding stairs that were at least 6ins higher on the outside of the curve than on...

This hotel has a very convenient family 'suite' consisting of interconnecting double and twin rooms with a shared shower room. One member of our party was a little tall for the low beam in the shower room and found one or two aspects of it awkward. However, the staff are very friendly and the breakfasts excellent. it is also extremely...

My friend and I stayed here for one night whilst walking the Wye Valley. We had a lovely superior twin room and we were very comfortable. The owner was friendly and helpful and we had a lovely evening meal there. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to fill up on for a long days walk. Smashing pastries!! I would recommend this...

Stayed for 3 nights. Had a lovely stay. We had a superior room which was really nice, very clean and spacious. Breakfast was wonderful, plenty of choice, cooked to order and served by very jolly staff. Restaurant is very nice and food delicious. Would definitely recommend. Had no problem finding a space in the car park. Would love to return

We have had Sunday lunch here a few times, and it keeps getting better. All local produce, sourced by the chef, great cooking and presentation. Prices are reasonable main courses are £10-£15 great value for good quality food. I would recommend this a place to eat when you are in Ross on Wye

Lovely meal that was cooked to order. This time if the year you need to book. Nice ambience, service and a great pint of local ale, Wye Valley brewery. Easy parking in the evenings with a short stay car park right behind the Hotel. Shame you have to pay until 10pm but not expensive.
